Departmental Letter to UNC Leadership Regarding the Pending Decision on the Confederate Statue
In view of the upcoming March 15 deadline for a committee from the UNC system’s Board of Governors to offer a new proposal for the future of the Confederate statue formerly in McCorkle Place, the Department of Religious Studies has submitted a letter (dated February 6) to UNC Leadership expressing our desires for how the process should move forward.
