“Faith in Our Lives: Why We Follow” at Playmakers

March 10, 2018 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

PlayMakers Repertory Company will host a FREE symposium with two national luminaries in the world of religious scholarship:

FAITH IN OUR LIVES: WHY WE FOLLOW

The program will offer a rare opportunity for substantive exploration of how our beliefs and faith serve us both personally and collectively. We will also explore what is at risk when doctrine is either taken to extremes or no longer feels relevant and vital.

UNC’s own Bart D. Ehrman, Ph.D. (James A. Gray Distinguished Professor in the Department of Religious Studies and NY Times bestselling author) and Robert M. Franklin, Jr., Ph.D (James T. and Berta R. Laney Professor in Moral Leadership at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology) will lead the symposium.

Join us on Saturday, March 10 from 4 – 5:30 pm at the Elizabeth Price Kenan Theatre in the Joan H. Gillings Center for Dramatic Art (120 Country Club Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.) Parking is available in the Cobb Deck right behind the building and along Country Club Road.
