Nag Hammadi and Gnosticism Network Annual Meeting

The 2017 Meeting of the Nag Hammadi and Gnosticism Network will take place October 5-7, 2017 at UNC-Chapel Hill. The Nag Hammadi and Gnosticism Network (NHGN) is an international group of scholars dedicated to study of the Coptic treatises contained in the famous Nag Hammadi Codices discovered in 1945, as well as significant related Coptic literature also discovered in Egypt in the modern period. The keynote address for this year’s conference will be delivered by Dr. David Brakke, David Brakkethe Joe R. Engle Chair in the History of Christianity and Professor of History in the History Department of the Ohio State University.
